Today is the day...

...The day my best friend turns 21. PART-AY!! She is a grown woman for cryin out loud!!! I've had some good times with this pretty lady. Some people think a little too many. We can now completely read each others minds and i'm pretty sure people think we are nuts. I think its pretty legit.

I am so grateful to have this amazing girl in my life. She care so much about other people and always knows just what to say and do to keep me on the right track. She is always so happy and willing to help everyone in need (you may have to schedule an appointment though because the therapy sessions have been overbooked lately). She has taught me to find what matters most in life.

I am so grate ful to have such an amazing friend, roommate, co-worker, sister and bff. And I mean bfF. We've already got our futures planned with a shared houseboat, connected backyards, and hot husband friends. It will be great! Happy Birthday Shan! Thanks for all the wonderful past adventures and the many more that are sure to come. Party like a rockstar you adult you.

Here are some past adventures

Speaking of adventures: St. George TOMORROW!!!! and no more school for almost four months! I survived! Yeehaw!!!

Thank goodness for friends!

I have to add on to that last post. Two in one day! Consider yourself lucky;) I am just warning you now though... this is kinda gonna be like when those singers do their little speech thing after winning an award: long, awkward and very unbelievable. Its true though...I just wanna thank everyone! haha. I wouldn't be where I am without the help of friends and fam. I would honestly probably be shriveled up in bed with a big FAILURE stamped across my forehead because of my failing grades.
If it weren't for Shan, Kyle, Dusten, and Skyler, my final research paper would be a bunch of jibberish. Literally. They reviewed and revised that paper with me for countless hours this past week. They helped me to arrive at the place where I can see the light.
If it weren't for Heath, I wouldn't have had anyone to study with every morning, no one to "bless me" when I had sneezing attacks everyyy stinkinnn morninggg (tis the season for allergies...yay), and I would still be thinking Microbiology was a completely different language.
If it weren't for mother, my stomach would be eating my back bone by now and no one would have covered my shifts.
If it weren't for Shan, my papers would have sucked and my brain would have been fried. She helps me always remember what matters most.
If it weren't for my awesome family I would be completely lost in every aspect of my life. They keep me young and happy.
I have the best family and friends in the entire world!!! I don't know how I got so lucky! I sure am glad they all put up with me though because I couldn't live without them. Especially during finals week. Thank goodness for friends! Thank you, thank you very much. Love you all!

Ok i'm done now.

I can see the light!

Ya know...the one at the end of the tunnel? Yeah, I can see it now, just up the road a bit flickering in the distance. In two more days I will be proud to say that I have made it through another difficult semester. Can I get a hoorah!?! These past couple of weeks have been completely crazy. Two jobs, fourteen credits, and finals week don't really mix well, but hey, i've stirred it up and so far have come out victorious. I feel I have practically dominated the first few finals I have taken and even had time for some good ol country dancing, mini golf, go-cart races, glitter toes, bike rides, family time, ropin practice, relaxation, and studies. Its crazy all the things that happen when I put first things first. No Facebook has a lot to do with that I feel. Here is to two more days, two more finals, and two more papers to write! Can you see the light too?

Anyway...wanna know where I'm gonna be this weekend in honor of my dear friend Shan's 21st b-day and to kick off the best summer ever...

St. Geezy baby!!! With all my favorite friends! I can't wait for our short trip down to some sunshine. I am most excited to get to do baptisms in the St. George Temple (making it number 2 of our summer journey) and just chill by the pool with my girlies. Thats whats up!!!! I am sooo excited. You should be jealous. Expect pictures soon!

I suppose this will suffice

It's not quite a motorcycle, but it sure is fun!

I love my bike.
And I love Sunday rides on it with my best friend up to Mother's for some great food and fun.
How many happy places am I allowed to have?
Because that very uncomfortable hard seat full of laughter and smiles is definitely one of them.
Good times, good times.

I want to go on a motorcycle ride!

Like right now. I think I watched like twenty million motorcycles drive past work today. I'm not exaggerating either. Ok...maybe just a little bit. There was quite a lot though! And it made me crave it. Like way bad! Something about the crisp breeze through my hair, holding on for life to a cute strong manly man, and the sound that pounds all the way to my heart just gets me. Its quite the rush. I highly recommend it! A word to the wise though: watch out for the ridiculously hot pipe by your right leg though or else you'll end up with a scar like me that won't let you forget any past memories on motorcycles even if you try to. Don't let that hold you back though:) Memories are good. Somebody please find me a cute man, a motorcycle, and a sunny day and I will be incredibly happy! Make it choppy too.
Mmmk thanks! :)

And so it begins...

Shantel and I have a goal this summer. Well, lots of goals really, but this is a big one and it we started last Friday.

What is this awesome goal, you ask? Well....drum roll please.....

DO BAPTISMS AT EVERY TEMPLE IN UTAH!

Yeehaw! Pretty exciting huh? We are going to do baptisms at every temple in Utah before the fall semester starts back up again. No if and or buts about it! I am super excited! I love going to the temple, I love doing baptisms, and I love vacations. Win, win, win! We've got most of the far-away ones planned out already to go along with a rockin weekend, but we can't seem to figure out what to do in Monticello. Good question right? We'll let ya know when we figure it out.

Here are some pics from temple trip numero uno. We decided to start right here close to home and the day before conference. It was an amazing experience! Can't wait to go back!
Bright eyed, Bushy tailed, and wet. Gotta love it!
I love to see the temple!!!
Stay tuned for posts on our upcoming trips!
